Capital O, Hotel Rose, Ensenada

A lot of people recommended staying in Ensenada for our first night after crossing into Mexico. Just cross in and don't stop, avoid Tijuana as there's a fair bit of crime there. So we did exactly that. The only trouble was, the secure parking at the hotel had a 2.75m height restriction and with the two surfboards we were too tall.
