México/Belize crossing

We crossed into Belize with souldope_overland. 2 foreign LandCruisers leaving Mexico together.

Interestingly we were both asked if we had a drone and if we had anything to declare. As we had spent all night and morning eating our meats, fruits and vegetables, we said no. But as we entered we were asked if we had declared our surfboards (which we hadn't as we didn't realise) but we were let on in anyway.

Instantly some familiarity. It seems like they consider themselves Caribbean, they speak English and the Queen is on the bank notes.Lue lisää
