Loads of sand flies. It was awful. We got eaten alive!
Thankfully we were only here for one night. But we would not recommend it to anyone else.

Jan von WartburgThanks for letting me know. What divespots could you recommend? Everybody speaks about the blue hole but it is so far out with the boat! Do you know if it is worth it?
PodróżnikThe blue hole is a bit of a tourist trap I belive and really you should be a good experienced diver to do it properly. But it is just a hole and as far as I know there isn't much wildlife. The two sites we did were "the last anchor" and "the lounge, Belize reef" but I don't remember which I prefered

Mariposa is a 3 star hotel with the cheapest room being £270 a night. We paid $25.
Not bad at all.

An expensive site. However it was huge and we were the only ones here!
It came with a big fire pit and firewood, which was really useful to keep the bugs away!
