Koreatown, Los Angeles

We took the Surfliner up to LA from San Diego, and it was a very pretty coast-hugging trip (just didn't take any photos of it!)

I had rented an AirBnB here, but it turned out to be awful. Mainly because LA was experiencing a migraine-inducing heatwave and the apartment didn't have air conditioning, nor was there a pool in the complex, but we could see one at the back of the one next door. Torture!

Main port of call was Universal Studios, but we also took the Metro to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the nearby little museum, and went on the worst bus tour ever of Hollywood, with a driver who seemed out of it on drugs, talked absolute BS about what we were seeing, and didn't go to several of the places promised on the brochure, such as the Hollywood sign.Читать далее
