Powerhouse dinner and show

On Sunday, my hosts and I went to an evening performance of a musical comedy set in a certain school for wizards, but featuring the lesser students (as all those famous names are copyrighted!)

From the suburbs where they live, we took a couple of buses into the city and strolled along the riverbank in a lovely park setting with a children's playground and a miniature train. Then we took the ferry over to the former powerhouse at New Farm, which is now an arts venue, and enjoyed dinner in one of the restaurants in the complex before the show.Read more
