Berkeley

Had a great sleep at the Econolodge near OAK, then took bus and BART to Berkeley. Had some delicious pizza from Sliver and iced coffee from the cart in the newly updated Downtown Berkeley Plaza. Then hopped the Perimeter line to my old stomping grounds at EECS Cory and Soda Halls.

Nearly everybody was working from home, so I only got to see one former workmate! It was the week before classes started and I was a bit surprised there weren't more students around checking out the campus. Met up with the person who first employed me at UCB and her husband and did a bit of wandering with them. Then took public transit back to the motel, getting a delicious roasted veggie salad from Market Hall in Rockridge on the way.Baca selengkapnya
