    The first sunrise in the US

    We got up early this morning to drive up to Cadalac Mountain (1500 ft) to where the sunrise is first seen in the US. Cadalac Mountain is in Acadia National Park 20 minutes from Bar Harbor. We got there about 40 minutes before sunrise and almost didn't get a parking spot. All were disappointed because the fog didn't lift until well after sunrise.Read more
