Deutsches Museum

This morning I visited the Deutsches Museum, founded in 1903 by engineer Oskar von Miller, and is one of the world's largest science and technology museums. Located on an island in Munich's Isar River, it houses exhibits covering aviation, astronomy, mining, physics, and early computing. Visitors can see historic aircraft, submarines, and a planetarium, along with interactive displays that demonstrate scientific concepts firsthand. I somehow missed the submarines but the aircraft and rocket exhibits where very interesting. One highlight was a staff member playing an old pipe organ in the music instrument's exhibit.Read more
