    The Arch of Triumph in Bucharest is, along with the Parliament, one of the most important monuments in the city.

    It celebrates Romania's victory in World War I and its aesthetics recalls the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, built a century earlier.
    The Romanian Arch is in neoclassical style, standing 26 meters tall, and serves also as set for the military parades held annually on Romania National Day.

    In the summer, at 7:30 PM, with the sun setting and without the rush hour traffic, this monument shows its best side.
