The famous Café du Monde in New Orleans☕

The Café du Monde is one of the most iconic spots in New Orleans, founded in 1862. It’s located in the French Quarter, on the banks of the Mississippi River.

The typical specialties are chicory coffee (which I didn’t like that much) and the famous beignets covered in powdered sugar. The beignets are delicious, soft, light, not greasy at all ... really, really tasty 🍩.

Outside the café, there was a street artist playing live music, which made the atmosphere even more special.Read more
