The American Museum of Natural History is famous for its enormous life-sized dinosaur displays at the entrance and for being the set of the movie "Night at the Museum"

The museum is located west of Central Park and houses thousands of fossils, skeletons, and remains of both living and extinct animals.
It also features collections on human anthropology, focusing mainly on African peoples, Native Americans, and the populations of Pacific islands.

Like with the Guggenheim, we decided to skip this museum to have more time to explore the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) at our own pace and enjoy the details of the artworks there.
