    October 7 in Spain 🌧 16 °C

Pilgrim dinner tonight was a carrot soup with croutons (delicious), pesto pasta with bread (delicious), and some kind of cold berry coconut jelly/cheesecake hybrid (not so sure).

Six of us sat around the table. A camp, friendly man from Boston, who was a pharmacist for 32 years but chucked it in to work at the garden centre 6 doors down from his house. Richard from Belgium, maybe in his 70s, who introduced himself as Dick and cracked the joke "every day I send home a Dick pic" (gross). Another Belgian woman, not with Dick, who didn't actually share her name or anything at all, she simply sat in silence looking like she'd enjoy stabbing us all in the face with her fork. And a young British couple who live near Newcastle, who have been on a mission to try every icecream product in Spain apparently, which I vigorously support.

Afterwards I took myself on a little stroll, and was even brave enough to venture into the darling little stream I saw on the way into town some hours earlier.

Tomorrow I've got a bigggg climb, so I made sure to have three pieces of bread with dinner 😇
