🇨🇭 Starfield Bibliothek... hmm, ich weiss nit recht ob meh dem würklich Bibliothek kann sage, au wenns Bücher zum lese und kaufe het. 📚
Erstens isches eigentlich e riese Ikaufzentrum.
Und zweitens, es het zwar vereinzelt Lüt gha wo dört am sitze gsi sind und e Buech in de Hand gha hend, aber ich finde es isch meh e Touristeattraktion do die meiste doch uf de Rolltreppe stönd und Föteli's vo sich mache. 📸

Fazit: Es gseht würklich mega schön us, es isch sicher e einzigartigi Kulisse für e Instagram Post, aber für mich wär's viel z'luut zum läse und zum lerne sowiso.

First of all, it's actually a huge shopping center. 🛍
It does have a lot of people sitting somewhere with a book in their hand, but I think it's more of a tourist attraction than a real library.
Most people take there photos on the escalator or are posing for a selfie with a book. 📸

🇨🇭 De 롯데월드 타워 (Lotte World Tower) isch e 123-stöckige und 555m hoche Wolkekratzer in Seoul. Es isch's sechsthöchste Gebäude vo Asie und au vo de ganze Welt, plus au s'allereste Gebäude in Südkorea wo über 100 Stockwerk hoch isch.
Damit Bsucher so schnell wie möglich obe sind, gits zwei Hightech-Doppeldeckerlift. Sie fahre je mit ere Gschwindikeit vo 10m pro Sekunde, das heisst meh isch inner 1 Minute ganz obe! Au do sind die zwei Sky Shuttel wieder weltwiit die schnellste Doppeldeckerlift.

Ich bin überrascht gsi z'erfahre das Südkorea 80% us Berge bestoht. Es isch bizeli anderst als in de Schwiz. Wo bi uns meistens sehr steil wandere duesch, laufsch do relativ flach... devör ewigs! 🫠
Nach 5 Stunde laufe hani's Gfühl gha ich muess jetzt den sicher wege de Ziit uf de höchi vom Gornergrad si, aber nüt isch. Knapp 1507 m.ü.M sind's gsi. 😅

Mis Highlight isch das ich 아줌마's (Ajumma: dt. älteri Frau) troffe han wo probiert hend e Selfie z'mache. Ich han mi ganze Muet zäme gnoh und uf in mim Koreanisch Level A1 gfrogt ob ich kann helfe ... und ich bin spontan Adoptiert worde ! 🇨🇭🤝🏻🇰🇷

Ufem Gipfel hemer zäme Fötelis gmacht und sie hend mich iglade zu ihrem Picknick. Jedi het ihri eigeni huusgmachti Spezialität debi gha.
Ich ha die Ehr gha und nebe de Dorfältiste dörfe sitze. Sie mir mit voller stolz ihri grillierte Grille abote, wuhuuuu... 🦗🥲
Ich ha mich grad nomol überwunde und han sie probiert. Schmöckt wie e Erdnüssli. 🥜😊

🇬🇧 On the 5th day, hiking was announced. 🥾⛰️
I was surprised to learn that South Korea is 80% mountains.
However, it is a little different than in Switzerland. Where the hike is usually very steep, the hike here is relatively flat... but it lasts forever! 🫠
After 5 hours of hiking, I had the feeling that I should be at the top of the Gornergrad (Matterhorn).
But nooooo, it was only 1507 meters above the sea level. 😅

But my highlight was that I met a few 아줌마's (Ajumma: eng. older women) on the way. They tried to take a group selfie. I gathered up my courage and asked in my first level Korean if I could help... and just like that, I was adopted. 🇨🇭🤝🏻🇰🇷

At the top of the Mountain we took a few pictures together and then they invited me to there picnic.
Everyone had their own homemade specialty with them.
I had the honor sitting next to the oldest member in group. She proudly offered me her grilled crickets ... yeeey 🦗🥲

Ich als ehemaligi Karateathletin hans kum könne erwarte Tatami (blau/rote Matte) unter mini Füess könne z'gspüre. 🥋

Es kunt nit nur d'Schönheit vom Tee zur geltig, sondern au vo de Koreansichelandschaft an sich. En bsuech im Souvenierlade loht sich ebefalls. 🍵💚
Und wenn meh will kann meh au no en Pfad dur die ganze Grüenteereihe laufe wo schlussendlich zum Gipfel vom Berg füehrt. Ganz obe het meh denn en super usblick ufs Meer und mit bitzeli Glück mit em Wetter gseht meh sogar Japan am Horizont. 🌊🇯🇵

Usserdem gits viel verschiedni Buddha Statue. De eigentliche Tempel isch sowohl von innen als au von usse komplett verziert.

🇨🇭 D' Seokgruam Grotte isch mit ihre Höhle, de Stei Skulpture und mit em Buguksa Tempel es herforagends Bispiel vo buddhistischer Architektur, die im 8. Jarhundert in Gyeongju, de damalige Hauptstadt vom Shilla-Königrich, gherscht het.

Alles in allem, e herrtlichi Landschaft z'mitzt im Nationalpark. De Buddha befindet sich leider hitere Glaswand und isch so mit unmöglich zum fötele, devör hets hunderti vo farbige Lampions. 🏮🎐

🇨🇭 Nei das sind kei überdimensionali Ameisehügel, sondern historisch wertvolli Königsgräber in dene damalige Herrscher begrabe worde sind.
Die Hügel sind verglichbbar mit de Ägypische Pyramide.
In eis vo dene kann meh sogar iegoh und die beeidruckendi Bauwis und die ganzi Grabschätz go bestune.
Sehr interessant und vorallem idrucksvoll!

🇨🇭 De 경주 동궁과 월지 (Dongung Palast und Wojin Teich) isch de Nebepalast vom Kronprinz vom Shilla-Riich gsi. Er hät dozumol au für grossi Festmähler, für wichtigi Gäst oder au für staatlichi Ereigniss dient.

Nach dem s'Shila-Riich untergange isch, isch de Ort in sich igfalle und in vergässeheit grote. Während de Goreyo und Joseon Ziit ischer au zu "Anapji" umtauft worde.

Meh het aber 1980 Keramikgschiir gfunde mit de Innschrift 월지 (Wolji; Teich, in dem sich de Mond spiegelt). 🎑
Ab denn, hät de Ort wieder sin wahre Name zrugg beko.
De Teich mit de übrigblibene Gebäude isch de Rest vonere gewaltige Palastalag wo vo 661 bis 681 erbaut worde isch.

Ufjede Fall am Obig anegoh, denn isch de Pavillion belüchtet und spieglet sich im Wasser.

🇬🇧 Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond was a secondary palace used by the crown prince of the Shilla Kingdom. It also served as a banquet site for important national events and visitors.

After the fall of Silla, the site was abandoned and forgotten. The pond was referred to as "Anapji" from the Goryeo and Joseon periods and onwards.

n the 1980s, a ceramic fragment engraved with the letters 월지 (Wolji; a pond reflecting the moon) was found. After the discovery, the place was renamed to his true identity. 🎑

The pond with the remaining buildings is the remains of a huge palace complex that was built between 661 and 681.

🇨🇭 Eini vo de wichtigste koreanische Konfuzius Akademe us de Joseon-Dynastie, wo vomene Mitglieg vo de »Ryu-Familie« gründet worde isch. Die idyliischi Umgäbig befindet sich in de nöchi vom Dorf 하회 (Hahoe).

m Dorfzerntrum stoht en riesegrosse alte Baum.
De 하회삼신당 (Hahoe Samsindang), de Baum vo de Samsin Göttin.

De 600 Johr alti Zelkova-Baum isch en Schrein, in dem de alti Geist, d'Göttin Samsin wo Göttin vo de Geburt und Fruchbarkeit isch, lebt.
Dorfbewohner bätte dörf für's Wohlergehe vom Dorf und für e gueti Ernti. Sie schriebe au dur's Johr dure ihri Wünsch uf kleini Zetteli und hänke sie vorem Baum uf. 🌳🎐
Am Chinesischeneujohr werde die Zettel denn all verbrennt und de Wunsch goht in erfüllig.

🇬🇧 One of the most important Korean Confucius Academy of the Joseon Dynasty. Founded by a member of the »Ryu Family«.
The idyllic surroundings are located in the north of the village of 하회 (Hahoe).

There is a huge old tree in the center of the villagen. Named the 하회삼신당 (Hahoe Samsindang), the tree of the Samsin godness.

The 600 year old Zelkova tree is a shrine in which the old spirit and Samsin (the godness of birth and fertility) lives.
Villagers asked them for the well-being of the village and for a good harvest.
Every year they write their wishes on small pieces of paper and hang them in front of the tree. 🌳🎐

On the Lunar New Year all the paper will be burned and the wish will come true.

There's usually not much going on, which makes the walk all the more pleasant. As a tourist you can also write down your wish on a note!

Es het hunderti traditionelli Hüsli - Hanbok - die us de Joseon Dynastie stamme. 🏘
De Name Bukchon heisst Wortwörtlich übersetzt "nördliches Dorf". De Name kunt will das vierteil nördlich vo de zwei bekanntiste Wahrzeiche Seoul's, de Fluss Cheonggyecheon und em Glocketurm Jongo, liegt.
Us vielne Hanoks sind hüt Gäste- oder Teehüüser, Kulturzentre oder au Restaurant und Cafi worde. Meh kann so ganz viel vo de tradionelle koreanische Kultur lerne und au erlebe.
Do s'Bukchon Hanok Village viertel es echts Dorf isch, das heisst dört Lebe würklich Mensche, isches sehr wichtig sichrespekvoll z'verhalte, bim umelaufe und nit eifach in d'Hüser oder Gärte ie z'goh, oder Türe und Fenster uf z'mache. ✋🏻🛑

Ich denke Besichtigung im Hanbok wär sicher au no cool. Es würd sich wie e kleini Ziitreis afüle mit dene alte Hüser und dene enge Gasse..
Han aber leider festgstellt das die vermietig dört mindestens doppeltso tür isch wie susch überall. 🥲😒

🇨🇭 Wenn usem Dorf Bukchon uselaufsch, kunnsch zum Gyeongbokgung Palast. Er ist de ältisti und grössti vo de fünf Joseon Paläst wo in Seoul stönd.

Meh kann alles go aluege, vom Schlofzimmer vom König & Königin bis zum Bankettsaal wo dozumol königlichi Fester gfiiret worde sind.
De kleini bezauberndi Pavillion uf de Insel bim See kann meh ebefalls go aluege.

Aber s'idrücklichste vom ganze Palast isch de Thronsaal mit sim elegante Dach und de dekorativ bemolene Wänd und Fänsterläde und mit sim ganze Gold an de Decki.
Insgesammt hets 300 Gebäude mit fast 6'000 Zimmer.
E Füherig dur de ganzi Palast würd mindestens 8 Stund goh. 😯

Wenn Glück hesch und um die richtig Ziit dört bisch, gsehsch sogar no d'Wachablösungszeremonie. Au sehr schön zum aluege.

A really beautiful palace. You can see everything from the king and queen's bedroom to the banquet hall where royal banquets where once held.

The enchanting pavilion on the island in the lake can also be visited. The showpiece is the throne room with its elegant roof and decoratively painted eaves, walls and shutters.

In total there are 300 buildings with almost 6,000 rooms. A tour of the entire palace would take at least 8 hours! 😯

🇨🇭 De Admiral Yi Sun-Sin isch en isch en koreanische General gsi. Er het mit sine Schildkörteschiff währed dem Imjin-Krieg gege d'japanischi Marine kämpft und gwunne. Sitdem wird er als Nationalheld gfiiret.

Bronze Statue isch 17 Meter gross. Er hät in sinere rechte Hand sis Schwert welles Schutz und Patriotismus sympolisiert. Vor ihm ufem Sockel isch e mini Schildkröteschiff, das uf jedere Siite e Trommle het. Die sind dezue do gsi, Moral ufem Schlachtfeld für d'Soldate z'erhöhe.

The 17 meters high bronze statue stands firmly with a sword in his right hand, representing protection and patriotism. In front of the statue is a miniature turtle ship build by the Admiral. 🇨🇭 Grad nachem Admiral Yin Sun-Shi, kunt d'Statue vom König Sejong der Grosse.
Er isch eine vo de Joseon König gsi und isch vorallem bekannt willl er afangs 15. Johrhunder s'koreanische Alphabet sogenannte 한글 (Hangul) erfunde het.
Vorane het meh in Korea chinesisch gschriebe.
Genauso wie de Admiral, gilt de König Sejong als Nationalheld. 👑

🇨🇭 So, mis Rundreis isch fertig - und ich bin's au. Es isch sehr asträgend gsi, aber es git kei Tag wo ich würd säge "Das hetti jetzt nit unebdigt müesste gseh"
Sehr viel sehr spannendi Gschicht, e interessant's spiel zwüsche neue und alte Kultur, extrem schöni Landschaft, super feins ässe, mega fründlichi Lüt und richtig suber's Land. Ich kanns nur empfehle ! 🫰🏻
