• White horse hill

The sun was warm on our backs as we made our way back to Henley. It was cute watching our shadows dance infront of me as we went around the roun-abouts. We made, or I should say I made, since I was navigator, a slight detour on the way back to White Horse Hill, near Wantage. I was mistaken by the length of the detour and if I thought the road to the villa had been hard work I have no idea what the raid the the Hill was! Several sections were steep decent, left bend, right bend, steep scent and repeat! There's so much to think about when you're riding instead like what's on the road, avoid the man holes, avoid the gravel and silt that's been washed into the road from all the rain, brake gently and don't lock the back wheel, is that car going to move back into their lane, have they seen me and so on.
When we did get to White Horse Hill we were able to enjoy the beautiful golden light hitting the slope where the Horse is and a clear view out across the English countryside.
