The Cliff Top Cafe

Even with the overcast skies the morning was splendid. Matt wanted to have his birthday breakfast at a café hidden away at the top of the cliffs. It was the type of café that most likely wouldn't be known about unless you're a local or you'd happened upon it.

We were able to sit outside overlooking the bay and back to Folkstone, quite a beautiful view. Unlike yesterday at Samphire Hoe, France was hidden in the distance by the morning haze that had not quite lifted.Read more
