A 1,000-mile journey begins with 1 step

I'm at the beginning of my trip, at the Greyhound bus station in Columbus, Ohio. I can't believe this day has finally arrived. I'm very sad to be leaving my wonderful friends here, but so excited to hit the road on the way to hug old friends and make new old friends.

Accompanying me are Johnny (Cash) & Jack (Keroac), who will no doubt later be left on a bench for another Traveller, but who will start me out right.
