Walking Tour

Today is a self-guided walking tour of the city, courtesy of Lonely Planet. The traffic here is even worse than Bangkok, and I don't dare rent a motorbike. It's difficult enough just to walk.

I'm at the Dong Xuan Market's shoe "department." The spices area, full of dried seafoods, cinnamon, and many other undefinable goods, was absolutely incredible to smell. I truly wish I could share it with you.

I plan to meet up with a hasher this evening. She's also visiting and arriving later today. We have some friends in common, so I'm predicting a good time.
