Kangaroos!!!

Yesterday afternoon was a quiet day...finally (lol). The remaining 7 of us took a drive to the lighthouse in Ulladulla, a local vineyard for a countryside drink, and Hayden's Pies for amazing meat pies. Yummy! After we got back, we walked around the neighborhood lake again and said hello to Ocky, the resident octopus. What an amazing animal!

Best of all, the four girls drove across the highway to see...kangaroos!!! There was a little Joey with a doe, and as we drove closer he bounced back into her pouch. Then, pop! Out comes his little head to look at the world. Incredible!

Now, we're driving Xerox and Mimmi to the train station where I'll try to keep the tears to a minimum. I'll see them again at the end of January. Yay!
