It's Definitely Autumn

Another morning where it was hard to get out of bed. I let the weather pass and rolled out about 0700. The roads were still wet and road spray was killer, but my boots and clothes stayed dry today 👍. (I left the hair dryer running on my boots all night last night. Worked great!! 🤣)

I didn't have a lot of stops today, but I got the Tennessee Capitol Building (only 8 to go!), three dealerships, and one Tour of Honor site. 💪

The best part of my day was when my friend called me this evening. I had stopped for gas about 50 miles before Erie PA and saw there was a Red Roof Inn across the highway. Just as I got off the highway, my buddy Mike called. He lives in New York state and was curious if I would have time to see him. I called him back after I got gas and got into the hotel. And my answer was I absolutely have time to see you tomorrow!! Yay!

Now I'm curled up in a comfy bed with the heat on 😱. At my last gas stop, I was about to put on my heated gloves because the temperature dropped to the mid-50s when the sun went down 🥶. The hotel clerk said it was 45°F yesterday, so I brought my heated gear into the hotel to layer up in the morning. Maybe I won't need it though 🤞.

P.S.: I think I found the only Red Roof that has breakfast 😱🤗.
