    I was going to post a long-ass explanation of my whole packing method and why I had to walk 40 minutes for my morning constitution in Bogotá today. But fuck the packing part, too long and probably boring for most. The morning walk thing is kind of interesting and definitely falls within the vicissitudes of travelling category, so I'll share.

    Apparently, the city of Bogotá has decided they need to shut the water off between 9 pm and 9 am the next day (that is a very approximate time frame, of course as it only came back on at 10:30 am). I woke up at 7 and needed to use the washroom, as is my habit. Oh, oh, no water. So, I headed out to the nearest coffee shop, which would have been a 10-minute walk if not for the crazy boulevards in between me and it, making it a 40-minute walk! "Un cafe por favor y donde esta el baño?" 😆
