Water Taxi to Anchorage: What we expected was a nice scenic boat ride along the coast to another bay. What we got was a rollercoaster ride with unexpected ups and downs and a really excited woman screaming of joy. We were surprised in the beginning but we had a lot of fun. A stunning coastline with many hidden "golden" beaches.

Te Pukatea Bay: From Anchorage Bay we walked over to Te Pukatea Bay. A lovely little Bay sheltered by the rocky steep shore on both sides. The white sand is mixed with oxidated iron and orthoclase feldspar turning it into a golden coloured heaven.Læs mere
