• Phantom Falls

    After lunch in Lorne, we headed inland and uphill for a walk to Phantom Falls. The trail was peaceful, surrounded by eucalyptus and dense green—classic Aussie bush vibes. Along the way, the girls were on a mission to spot a koala. They scanned every tree like seasoned wildlife trackers but had no luck. The only sign of life they found was what they claimed was koala poo on the ground. We weren’t entirely convinced, but they seemed satisfied with the find.

    The hike took us about an hour and a half, and spirits were high… until we reached the top and realized the falls were completely dry. Summer strikes again—and not one of us had considered that possibility. We stood there laughing at our anti-climactic discovery, but hey, the walk was still worth it.
