Koala sighting

On the drive toward Apollo Bay, we made a bunch of spontaneous stops—couldn’t help ourselves with those coastal views. At Kennett River, luck was finally on our side: we spotted a real, live koala snoozing up in a tree. Of course, we definitely didn’t make noise or shuffle around underneath just to get it to move. Totally respectful wildlife observers.

To top it off, somewhere along the way we drove past a paddock full of fluffy, long-haired highland cows and… either alpacas or llamas. Honestly, we still don’t know the difference, but they were fluffy and fabulous and that’s what matters. Czytaj więcej
