The Journey Begins

The 5.50pm flight from Cairns to Melbourne was good on a Qantas plane a short 2h wait Then our flight to Hong Kong left on time at 11.45pm. I like a windows seat so I can go to sleep against the wall and Mo prefers the isle so this is what we booked. We were lucky no one booked the seat in the middle so we scored the whole row.
I watched the movie "hustle" then slept until we arrived. I had booked the Hindi vegaterian meal and it was delicious curry with chapati, yum.
Not sure what will await us in Hong Kong as apparently the airport is closed due to protesters, no announcements on board so have to wait and see, though good practice for letting go of worries and staying in the moment.Read more
