First Day in Nicaragua 🇳🇮

We didn’t waste any time.
After arriving, we headed straight north into the mountains to Matagalpa for our first night. Cooler air, winding roads, coffee country — a beautiful way to begin.

The next morning took us higher and deeper into the hills.

We went zip-lining through the canopy and visited two waterfalls — one likely El Tucumá and then Cascada Blanca EcoLodge for lunch beside another waterfall.

After lunch, we piled back in for a 4-hour drive to the Finca.

Dusty roads. Open windows. Music. Intern chatter. The shift from adventure to long-term presence.
And now we settle. And Liam used the washroom!!

The interns will be here for 4½ weeks.
Not just to see Nicaragua — but to slow down, work, serve, reflect, and be formed.
