The river - six days of canoeing

We had four incredible days of paddling.

We climbed to the rim of the canyon.
We hiked deep into the canyon.

We saw so much, experienced so much.

We prayed together.
We encouraged one another.
We heard each other’s stories.

There were real moments of spiritual growth along the way.

Then came day five.
Rain.
Cold.
Wet.

And—strangely—still full of excitement.

And after pushing through it, we were rewarded…

Waterfalls everywhere, flowing because of the rain.

Sometimes the hardest day
ends up revealing something you would have never seen otherwise.
