Wild Camping near Rock Pillar 364.8

Slow start into the day and after about an hour on the trail already some trail magic happened by Brother Tom. He set up his truck at a gap with several cold drinks and delicious selfmade brownies and banana bread! That's how every day should start :)

I saw another bear today who was running directly in my direction. As soon as he noticed me he stopped for a second, looked at me and ran away. He was just about 15 meters away so it was a bit scary when I saw him running at me.

Our nightly camp was a last second choice before it got dark. We didn't want to stay at the initially planned camp site because it was already crowded and didn't look very inviting. The complete site had really tall grass around it.En savoir plus
