Cornelius Creek Shelter 765

The day started great when we went to the place where we had planned to camp. With a scenic view and a large breakfast the day is about to get good :)
Miles, miles, miles... Until a spot which is supposed to be a swim hole. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture but it wasn't what you'd expect. Beside that was the Summer Solstice today, which means in terms of AT thru hiking, Hike Naked Day :D But we didn't see anyone participating.
After an exhausting long ascent we were glad to arrive at the Shelter on top of the Floyd Mountain. I guess we're not really popular at Shelters because we're usually arriving later than everyone else and set the alarm to 5 :D Czytaj więcej
