    Wild Camping Conodoguinet Creek 1132

    We had our breakfast in camp today and chatted with "Data", an interesting fellow thru hiker. So it took us until 9 to start the hiking day even though we knew that we will have quite a tough day ahead. The problem is that it's not allowed to camp in the Cumberland Valley which covers about 16 miles.
    So we had the choice of either making 12 miles to the village of Boiling Springs or shoot for the next Shelter which would mean an overall of about 26 miles.
    At around 2 we arrived in Boiling Springs at the ATC Mid-Atlantic Regional Office. There wasn't much to do there so we just had lunch and afterwards prepared a package to send to Clara. Our backpacks are still too heavy :(
    Just as we wanted to get back on the trail two women from Harrisburg showed up with some trail magic :) Delicious water melon, PB & J Sandwiches and cold drinks!! So we were perfectly prepared for the 14 miles hike to the Shelter. We ended up about 4 miles before the Shelter wild camping...
