Puerto Natales

Today we had planned something different: A day of relaxation ☺️ We slept in until 9 and then had a relaxed breakfast. Afterwards we stayed in the room for another nap and by midday decided to explore the town of Puerto Natales. There's not a lot to see so we strolled all along the almost empty pier. At a scenic spot we wanted to take a picture and stumbled upon a sling bag with passport, money and cards 😱
The nearby restaurant and cafe were closed and at the parked cars were no people around. So we checked the passport and it belongs to a french woman around our age. We tried to find her on Facebook and Instagram and wrote messages. Just when we thought it's probably best to bring it to the police and woman walked quickly in our direction. From the picture we recognized her immediately and waved the bag 😁 She was super relieved because she needs to catch a flight in a little bit...

We continued our walk through the town and stopped at the main plaza for lunch. Then we bought a few things at the supermarket for later and returned back to the hostel. Overall we made a 8 km loop, so not completely a rest day ☺️ In the afternoon it started raining so we spent some time inside and had another nap 😴
For dinner we visited a pizza place 🍕 And of course it was too much of a portion so we had already our lunch for tomorrow's bus ride 😁Læs mere
