This was THE fastest border crossing for us. All done ✅ in about 1 minute, no joke!🤣 I think we waited longer in line, maybe 2 1/2 minutes.

Hopewell Rocks (Low Tide) - Bay of Fundy

We visited Hopewell Rocks on the Bay of Fundy, where they have the largest difference between low and high in the world! Low tide today was 1.5 feet. High tide was 44+ feet!!!

旅行者Thanks Wendi. It was both neat, yet strange, to walk on the ocean floor. And because of all the iron/clay, the wet mud down there looks just like chocolate pudding 🙃. But we didn't try any!😵💫

You can see the difference in the tide location from the first two photos. #1 was taken at low tide, while #2 was taken about 3 hours later - still a couple of hours before high tide.

旅行者Many thanks again. Nothing too exciting here --- just old people stuff type of day. Took forever to get moving, rode around, got back early, ate at weird times, etc. Guess we are migrating there. 旅行者No, kinda opposite in direction. Beach Meadows is between Yarmouth and Halifax. The closest we might get to it is when we go to Halifax, but Geoff thinks that's where a lot of people come from the states cuz it's an easier trip there. We are in the Bras d'Or lakes region; just arrived a bit ago
