We are on our way !!!!

Bit bumpy but in all another good flight by Virgin Atlantic.....Lady Pilot too. Didn't fly near Greenland, Iceland, Canada or any of East Coast USA....just directly across the Atlantic. (Come to think of it...I'm sure we flew over the Bermuda Triangle).Read more

MANY THANKS TO BANK OF SCOTLAND FOR RUINING OUR DAY....CARDS WERE BANNED EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THE BANK WE WERE COMING TO USA.

Twins had Corn Dogs, Amber had Cheesy Mac and Dad had Angus Burger with caramelised onion, BBQ sauce and brown sugar coated bacon. Only $29 total with an XL Dr Pepper and 3 Shirley Temples. Well worth a visit.Read more

No one at home....Hamish and Mum had gone to the beach....so we followed on....parked at the best beachside bar in the world (North Turn) and did some sunning and boogie boarding....MUCH FUN HAD !!!

Great night rolling with my long time friend, BJJ Black Belt Instructor John-Michael. After this class i stood in for the Muay Thai instructor and taught an hour long kickboxing class....recieved with gratitude from the team.

Onwards to the Moose bar for pizza and drinks (water for me) to celebrate John-Michael's birthday....a good night.Read more

What an amazing day...best so far.

I bought Lindsay a Wonder Woman suit and she proudly wore it on poolside...looking great.
I called the company Three Brothers, they are Based on South Beach Street, Daytona. They supplied Lindsay, Hamish, Kerr, Lewis and Myself with Paddleboards and we were given instruction by Eric. Then the fun began and we spent hours paddleboarding around the marina. This was a great day, Lewis and I being the last ones to shore....him begging me to come back...kept on telling me how much he loved it.Read more

Both Universal Parks, Orlando

Dad, Kerr and Lewis were up very early for the 60 mile trip south to Universal Orlando for a day of fun and madness....did not however take traffic on Interstate 4 into account...We were an hour late on arrival and the place was mobbed. Not to be stopped we went directly to the Dispicable Me show....where Dru changes all spectators into Minions and a calamity of events follow....Fantastic.
We tried to get into the new Transformers ride but it was out of order so we had a picture shoot with Decepticon leader, Megatron. Onto the Twister show which shows what happens during tornadoes, then made way to The Mummy ride...which never ceases to be amazing with its backwards roller coaster and constant fleeing from The Mummy.
We then made way for the new Harry Potter theme....get on board the Hogwarts Express at King's Cross Station (Universal) and take a 10 minute train ride to Hogwarts (Islands of Adventure). The idea is great as your group get their own carriage and the doors are closed. During the journey you can see the route to Hogwarts through the (CGI) window, even Hagrid (Robbie Coltraine) makes an appearance. Behind the door you can see silhouettes of Harry, Herminie and Ron fighting with Voldemort.....A great, fun experience.
At Hogwarts we went onto the CGI Harry Potter ride where you follow Harry in the sky fighting Dragons and Voldemort then winning at Quiddich.
Onto the Jurassic Park water tour which starts off as just a tour with Dinosaurs but, as in the movie the scary dinosaurs escape and it's an exciting escape from their water compound.
We decided to leave Islands of Adventure and head back to Universal to try and get onto the Transformers ride as we'd missed it earlier. ....but we had to stop and go on the Spiderman ride first....A 3D experience where Spidey fights off several baddies and wins the day.....strangely (and slightly disappointedly), Transformers and Spiderman are the same exact type of ride...just different characters.
We ended our Universal experience today with a trip to Hard Rock Cafe, Orlando for a bit of pre - homeward bound food.

Relson Gracie BJJ, St Augustine

Dad and Lewis drove North and took part in a seminar hosted by Relson Gracie (one of the most respected names in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts), senior member of the Gracie BJJ family. Learning from a master was an awesome experience....His knowledge of Jiu Jitsu and the Gracie methods of self-defence is spectacular. I honestly do not know which was better....learning from or meeting such an influential person.
After the seminar there was a large BBQ giving the students time to mingle with each other and share their own experiences with each other and Relson.
We took the Flagler Beach scenic route home, although longer than the other routes.....It brought back some great memories of the kids when they were young...especially a 6 week old Amber.

WET N' WILD

Dad, Hamish and Lewis made late tracks for Orlando....getting to Wet N' Wild waterpark at 1pm. We did every major ride in the park...strangely I ended up going backwards on most....The best one was The Brain Wash, as I was facing Hamish (and going backwards), I looked at his face and his smile grew into a look of shock....unbeknown to me....I was about to go backwards - us all dropping about 30ft down into a massive barrel sliding up the walls....It was awesome !!
The temperatures were in the low 90s and we all had a great day.Read more

We went to the mall to get some clothes and to top up the phone credits. The twins and Amber went on the high bounce trampolines and loved it.
We went in and it was very sunny....when we came out....It was thunder, lightning and heavy rain...spectacular scene....note the lightning in the picture taken just outside the house.Read more
