Puerto Blest to Puerto Varas

It was a relaxed start the next morning as we waited for the boat to arrive from Puerto Paneulo at 11.00am with adjoining passengers for a 3km bus ride past the Frias River to Puerto Alegre. It was a 20 minute boat cruise (Photo 1 to 3) over Lake Frias to Puerto Frias where we went through departure at Argentina customs before continuing by bus for about 1.5 hours to Puella, the first Chilean town (Photos 4 to 9). After lunch, we sailed 2 hours across Todos los Satos Lake with more beautiful waterfalls (Photo 10) arriving in Petrohue (Photo 11) and then a 1 hour bus trip to Puerto Varas.Read more
