    Copenhagen Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. It was founded in 1859 and comprises 27 acres and has more than 4,000 animals from all over the world.

    In the morning we climbed to the top of City Hall Tower and then the Church of our Savior. Just before sunset we visited Tivoli Gardens.

    We visited Rosenburg Castle, Copenhagen Catherdral, The Little Mermaid Statue and the Royal Palace.

  • Copengahen to Eidfjord

    On Friday 10th, we boarded the overnight ferry bound for Oslo. Next morning, we boarded our bus and headed to Eidfjord.

    We drove through Gol, before arriving in Geilo, a small town surrounded by mountains. We continued to Hardangervidda where we visited Voringfossen Waterfall before arriving in Eidfjord, for your overnight stay. Murray could not believe that we had 57 MG's parked out the front, especially with his MG restoration almost finished.Read more

  • Eidfjord to Bergen

    We departed Eidfjord driving through beautiful Norwegian scenery stopping at Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall before arriving in Bergen which is known as the capital of the fjords.
    Situated on a peninsula surrounded by 7 mountains the history of Bergen is closely connected with the sea and this is very noticeable, especially at the city’s picturesque waterfront. In the afternoon we visited Bryggen, the city’s historic harbour district with wooden structures lining the waterfront; it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979. We then visited the traditional Fish Market and the city centre with St. Mary’s Church and Haakon’s Hall. We also took the Floibanen funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen.Read more

  • Bergen to Stalheim

    We drove to historic Voss, with its scenic background of snow clad mountains.
    After a short break, we continued towards the Naeroy Valley and Stalheim, which offers a stunning view down the Stalheim Gorge.Read more

  • Stalheim to Fagernes

    We continued through the fjord region with its glacial valleys, flanked by impossibly rugged mountains. At Gudvangen we crossed the Naroyfjord by ferry to reach the village of Flam. Here we did a trip on the Flam Railway which is one of the most famous railway journeys in the world.Read more

    Founded in 1048 Oslo is Scandinavia’s oldest capital and today it is a very pleasant and casual city with an interesting jumble of historical and modern architecture.

  • Oslo to Stockholm

    Throughout the day we drove through typical Swedish landscapes with fertile farmland, blue lakes and thick forests. We arrived in Stockholm, capital of Sweden in the afternoon you arrive in Stockholm.

    The city, built on 14 islands, connected by 57 bridges, embraces the unique character of 13th century Old Town with modern high-tech architecture. Stockholm is proudly called “Beauty on Water”.

    The next day we visited the Old Town "Gamla Stan".
