Cairns to Copenhagen

After a 20 hour flight, we arrived at our hotel around 9am and spent our time walking around Copenhagen until we could check in at 3pm.

Copenhagen Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. It was founded in 1859 and comprises 27 acres and has more than 4,000 animals from all over the world.

In the morning we climbed to the top of City Hall Tower and then the Church of our Savior. Just before sunset we visited Tivoli Gardens.

On Friday 10th, we boarded the overnight ferry bound for Oslo. Next morning, we boarded our bus and headed to Eidfjord.

Eidfjord to Bergen

We departed Eidfjord driving through beautiful Norwegian scenery stopping at Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall before arriving in Bergen which is known as the capital of the fjords.

Bergen to Stalheim

We drove to historic Voss, with its scenic background of snow clad mountains.

Stalheim to Fagernes

Fagernes to Oslo

Founded in 1048 Oslo is Scandinavia’s oldest capital and today it is a very pleasant and casual city with an interesting jumble of historical and modern architecture.
Oslo to Stockholm
