Trying to climb

After an eventful weekend, we left for Italy, fleeing to the southern Alps for less rain, no snow and hence more climbing!! :) Both my brothers bailed on us for different reasons and so the family trip turned into a trip with my brother's childhood friend Julian.

Today, we did 2 climbing routes and a scenic 9 hour hike in total. It started a bit frustrating with all the exciting parts of the trail being old rusty ladders (pic 2) instead of rock climbing, but the second climb was great and made up for it all! We also got to explore some old military ruins and tunnels through the mountains. What a fun day!Read more
