Dubrovnik Old Town 2

We visited the cathedral and several smaller churches. And also read about the bombing of the city which happened during the Yugoslavia war (90s). Luckily the destruction didn’t affect the whole old town and they could reconstruct the damaged buildings.

The city also got famous due to the many filming locations from Game of Thrones. You can walk through the streets and feel yourself in the medieval times. So we visited the famous staircase where the “Shame” scene took place. There you can also sit in a bar and drink “Shame Mojitos” 🍸

After 3h walking in the city and going up and down the hills, we also decided going back to the apartment as the heat was very intensive. Time for a siesta. 😎Læs mere
