• Still Nothing Happening but Castles

    24 Eylül, Polonya ⋅ 🌧 10 °C

The day was just as rainy as the last, so I had no worries that I'd read until 1.30 am last night as I could sleep in. Aluna didn't want to go out much either, so after a quick walk to get rid of the necessities, we snuggled up back in the apartment and had a long breakfast. The rain hadn't stopped yet, so I decided to use the drawing tools I've brought with me and started yet another StrayKids inspired drawing. This time, it was the song Youtiful. I actually wanted to draw an eye, as the lyrics state "When you give me a glance, I see the universe in your eyes". However.... The one I drew looked absolutely horrifying, so I decided on something much simpler. It was 2 pm now and the rain had stopped, but it still looked abysmal outside. Nevertheless, I decided to take a shot and drive somewhere. Google Maps pointed me to yet another Castle not far from my apartment, which was also free, so I was like "I'll give it a go". It was a nice park and if I hadn't already eaten in the apartment and it wouldn't have been so wet everywhere, this would have been a nice park to have lunch/dinner at. But the tradition died the moment I had my own kitchen again.
I only spent like half an hour walking the grounds, and the day was still long. So I looked back at Google Maps and saw that Poland was only 40 min away from me. And they had a nice big lake there and - yet again - a castle. So, I said "Sweet (an egg" - SKZ inside joke, sorry), and drove up North. On my way, it started to rain properly again, but I wasn't having any of that. I arrived at a little nook beside a street where there was a beach and remnants of old campfires that have long sizzled out. Opposite of me, the Niedzica Castle was throning over the lake. And I decided that this was the perfect spot to cherish my last Pistachio donut. The picnic was short and standing, as it was super cold and rainy, but I still enjoyed the moment, before fleeing back inside my warm, dry car.
As my shoes were muddy now, I didn't want to do anything anymore today, so I drove back to the apartment, made myself some dinner (apparently Piccolinis need only 2,5 min in the microwave in pizza mode) and enjoyed some more drawing whilst watching more KPDH analysis videos on YouTube.
I didn't experience much the past couple of days, but I have to admit that they sure were super relaxing.
I'm sorry, gotta enjoy another bath now.
    Bye-um.
