• It's Still Raining + Car Drive to BTS

    25 Eylül, Slovakya ⋅ 🌧 15 °C

No, not the K-Pop Band BTS, that's only the 3 letter code of Bratislava.
So, today, I had to drive to Bratislava and leave the Tatra behind. I could get a little sneak peek of the Tatra before leaving, though, as the morning was only cloudy, not rainy. Maybe one day I'll come back with the sunshine in my luggage and will be able to actually experience the Tatra. Well... Just chilling and drawing has been nice as well.
My mood was okay, until I sat down in my car and it started to rain immediately. Like - what is wrong with the weather gods? Didn't I eat everything? Give me a freaking break of that stupid rain.
I was really not having it today. Not even SKZ could lighten my mood at first (my mood was rising shortly during Connected, but until Insomnia I was basically a grumpy cat...).
I wanted to wander around a cute little lake, which I did... But in the rain. So I was behaving like a little 4 year old kid, whining all the time it took me to walk around. At least I took a cute pic of my doggo.
Then I drove further to a viaduct where a train drove over the second I put my phone away. Of course.
Then I wanted to visit yet another castle, but decided last minute to just park in a parking lot that had the best views of the castle, take a 10 x Zoom pic through the fog and move on with life. I couldn't have cared less about the castle anyway, to be completely honest.
In Nitra, I did exit my vehicle properly, though. I walked around the city park and found the perfect spot to chill in on sunny days with the perfect view on the castle/cathedral. Lucky whoever will experience a sunny day in Nitra, I guess. Not me, though. (You see, my mood was still not that good after listening to Insomnia, however it lightened a tad).
The last hour to Bratislava was quickly over thanks to SKZ and my mental disconnect. When I arrived at the apartment, I called the host as I was told to and she came after 20 min. She brought her two little daughters who were absolutely adorable and when I saw the sheer vastness of my new apartment while thinking about my following dinner (it would be Yum-yum noodles again - I don't care about your judgement), my mood finally got back to normal level. Not happiness level, but normal level is way better than what I was living through the whole day.
Hopefully, watching a bit YouTube while slurping my dinner and the bath afterwards (yes, I had yet another bathtub in the apartment 🥹) would rise my mood back up to "holiday mode".
