    Let's drive to Paris!

    January 18, 2019 in France ⋅ ☀️ -1 °C

As a travel agent, you get a lot of great benefits, when you love travelling. I always wanted to go to Disneyland Paris, so I had a look-out for any great deals I could get. Then, my day had come: A Merry Christmas Special allowed me to buy a package including 2-day-entries into both of the parks plus an overnight in one of the Disney hotels plus a Disney breakfast for all the travel agents. Everything for 240€. I was on it! I immediately asked my parents and got us the package. As it was so cheap, I decided to invite them as a Christmas present. In January, it was time. We left Göttingen, driving the 8 hours to Paris and arrived late at night at our first night's hotel, the B&B. After checking in, my dad and I went for a walk to the gates of Disneyland, exploring where we would have to go the next day.Read more

    Welcome to Disneyland

    January 19, 2019 in France ⋅ ☁️ 0 °C

The next morning we had a very early breakfast at the b&b hotel as we had to check out there and check in at the New Port Bay Club, which would be our hotel for the night ahead. We queued like all the other travel agents from the Magic Pep did and waited until we got our badges that would let us in both parks. We left our luggage and went to the Mickey Mouse Meet&Greet that was arranged for us. Then, finally, we could enter Disneyland. And dear Lord, it's really a dream come true not only for Disney fans but for all that love magical atmosphere, fun and exciting entertainment.Read more

    Yet another beautiful day

    January 20, 2019 in France ⋅ ☁️ 1 °C

The night at the Newport Bay Club was relaxing, which was good, because another day full of Disney lay ahead of us. Today we had breakfast in a separate event location, as all travel agents and their families were invited to eat expensive Star Wars cookies (11€ each in the park) with a live Disney concert in front of them. After stuffing ourselves to the fullest, we strolled through the market hall and enjoyed the calmness of being one hour early in the park with no other guests around. As we explored quite a bit the other day, we could lay our focus on shows today. So we went on to see the Motor racing show that was breathtakingly awesome. We had to drive back home today, so my parents wanted to exit the parks early, but I had to refuse. I had to see the evening show with all the lights, music and fireworks again. Yesterday, I recorded every second of the 20min show in the freezing cold without gloves and cried. Today, I just wanted to enjoy the show and cry in peace. So we stayed for that spectacular show and drove home afterwards. It was yet again painful 8hrs. We arrived at 6am back home and as I hadn't had another free day, I had to be at the office again at 10am.
