Cornwall Housesit

We kicked off our three months of housesitting in Cornwall, looking after two sweet cats in St Austell 😺. The town itself isn’t that special, but it’s a great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

In just one week, we already ticked off quite a few highlights: we visited Charlestown and took our first steps (of many to come!) on the South West Coast Path 🥾. We also did a beautiful hike around Padstow, where the rainy weather somehow made the landscape even more beautiful. When the sun decided to show up, we joined the locals for some bodyboarding in Perranporth, followed by a vegan Sunday Roast 🌊. We explored the cosy town of Mousehole and walked a part of the coast path towards Lamorna Cave. And of course, we couldn’t miss the Minack Theatre! The setting and views were incredible, the musical itself… not so much 🎭.

We spent the rest of our time teaching, cuddling the cats and watching The Crown 👑.
