    Lofoten

    September 1, 2022 in Norway ⋅ ⛅ 11 °C

We returned to the Lofoten for a very special occasion: Jenka & Lauti's wedding! The islands are stunning so we explored them to the fullest by climbing several peaks with epic views, taking the ferry to Bunes beach, jumping off the dock into the ice-cold water after a sauna, kayaking in Reinefjorden, fine dining at a seaweed restaurant aaaaaaand admiring crazy Northern lights!!Read more

  • Oslo

    September 2, 2022 in Norway ⋅ ☁️ 15 °C

26 scenic hours of public transport brought us to Oslo. Because of time limitations, we squeezed this citytrip into one day. Even so, we tried to do as much as we could to get a feel of Norway's capital. We explored what must be the most fun library ever, visited four museums (definitely a record), found a delicious vegan Bahn Mi restaurant and strolled through the different neighborhoods and Frogner sculpture park.Read more

  • Copenhagen

    September 5, 2022 in Denmark ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

We pitched our tent at an old fortress near the sea and spent three full days exploring the world's most livable city by bike. With so many interesting yet distinct districts, it's hard to decide which one is our favourite. We bumped into a free Carribbean culture festival in tolerant Norrebro, were stunned by the creatively built houses (and the smell of marijuana) in anarchist Christiana, enjoyed delicious street food in creative Refshaleøen and went castle-hopping in the bustling historic centre.Read more

  • Hamburg

    September 7, 2022 in Germany ⋅ ☁️ 23 °C

Almost back in Belgium! As we wouldn't survive another 15 hour bus ride we split our journey in two and spent a night in a cabin hotel in Hamburg. We had mixed feelings about the city itself. While being very vibrant and cultural, it also felt a bit shabby and dark. We did like the Hafencity neighborhood - with it's urban regeneration projects and the majestic Elbe Philharmonic Hall - and found our habitat at graffiti-covered Karolinenviertel, where we ate delicious vegan Korean streetfood and went on a sustainable shopping spree.Read more
