    Our final stop was Venice, which is a unique, beautiful city that is unfortunately completely overrun with tourists. Photographed above are the island of San Giorgio Maggiore and the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel. Also pictured are some of the many canals in the city—which are much easier to navigate than the narrow, crowded, disjointed (and for Mike, very frustrating) streets.

    We also included a picture of the Bridge of Sighs. Built in 1600, its main purpose was to easily transfer prisoners from the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace.
