Ian dropped Mel and I back at santium pass this morning for our final 6 day push to Hood River! Not gonna lie, seeing them made today hard. It got me out of trail mode and was a little unmotivated. But it was so nice to see them, so very worth it. Today was super smokey in the morning climbing out of the three sisters wilderness and into mt Jefferson. Luckily the afternoon it cleared up. I fortunately miss a bunch of other Smokey days during my days off. Not the worst time to take a break!

Today I got to see three finger jack up close for the first time and rehike a portion of trail I did with Ian and Riley a couple years ago on mt Jefferson. I was pretty tired once I got to camp but my rash didn't flare up so that's a good sign!!
