Today was a great day. We had a pretty big climb the first half of the day. But we were rewarded with the most beautiful views of Jefferson. The second half of the day was through the Detroit burn scar. But we found trail magic! Provided by a man who did alot of trail cleanup for the eagle creek fire. He surprised a friend who was on trail. So nice! I also ran into a southbound thru hiker who I met on a day hike over the winter. We found out that we were both hiking and hoped to give each other a high five as we passed each other on trail! High fives were given! Tonight I am camping at ollailie lake. It also has a great view of Jefferson. Another very exciting event of the day was getting my first views of Mt. Hood! So close to home!Weiterlesen
