One word to describe the day: Riley!!

This morning my friend Kim met me at timberline! She hiked the day with me. Ended up being a 26 mile day hike for her. She crushed it! Riley crushed it too! The views were so pretty today. I got to rehike some of the timberline trail that I hiked 5 years ago. We had to cross the Sandy River which was a fairly large river. I couldn't find a dry crossing for Riley so I waded across with her. Tonight we camped above Lost lake at a spring. It's so nice to have Riley with me! Tomorrow we hike eagle creek and will go to Hood River for a few days off!!Leggi altro
