Our Vienna–Madrid flight delay turned our already tight 1-hour connection into a near impossible transfer.

We landed in Madrid just 5 minutes before our flight to Lima was supposed to depart — but thanks to a massive power blackout across parts of Spain, that flight ended up delayed by another 2 hours.
