Lake Murray

After leaving the gun range, Roberto still wanted to show me around. We passed the first dam I've ever seen and stopped at the lake. It was really pretty. We talked for a little and he asked if I was able to sleep through TAPS. The simple answer to that was no, no one could. It plays three times and over the speaker system so that the whole bar could hear it. When he went for a dip, I ended up talking to David. He was fun to talk to and invited me to come visit sometime to Charleston. Roberto and I went and cooked a German meal in celebration of him being stationed there soon. I was so grateful Roberto did for me and his best gift was a map of the USA that I keep referring to on my trip.Læs mere
