Mljet Island Adventure

I recently had the pleasure of exploring the stunning Mljet Island for a 4-day trip, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with breathtaking views and an overwhelming sense of tranquility.

On day one, I rented a car from Mljet Car Rentals and drove to the famous Mljet National Park. I was amazed by the lush greenery, peaceful lakes, and the centuries-old monastery on St. Mary Island. The scenic drive around the park was a perfect introduction to the island’s natural beauty.

Day two was all about relaxation. I headed to Saplunara Beach, where I spent the day soaking up the sun, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, and enjoying the quiet atmosphere. In the evening, I dined at a lovely seaside restaurant and watched the sunset over the Adriatic.

On day three, I took a boat tour around the island, exploring hidden coves and remote beaches only accessible by sea. The boat tour was the highlight of my trip, offering a unique perspective of Mljet and its untouched coastline.

Finally, on day four, I spent my last day hiking the trails through the Mljet Forest, which was an absolute treat. The tranquility of the forest, combined with the panoramic views, was the perfect way to wrap up my trip.

All in all, this 4-day getaway was everything I hoped for and more. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle and connect with nature, Mljet is the perfect destination!
