Plum Point Park

We took our time this morning departing from the marina around 9:30 taking advantage of the incoming tide. Some cool stuff along this stretch of the river, most notably Bannerman’s Castle and West Point. We anchored off Dennings Point State Park which has a short trail this afternoon but a storm moved in and it got really rough! So we moved across the river where we are anchored off another park in calmer waters for the west winds. This park also has trails. We’ll check them out tomorrow. Tonight’s view is the Castle.. or at least the armory… in my opinion the more interesting feature. 25 miles today. Secchi .9 in 1.5MRead more
