    Today was another easy cruise back down Otter Creek and then up to Burlington where we are staying at Ferry Dock Marina. This marina is protected by a breakwater built in 1854 when lumber was a huge trade and ships needed protection from rough seas on the Lake during stormy weather. Lighthouses mark either end. Neither original but both constructed to resemble the originals. The marina recently expanded and we are on new very nice docks. It’s been spitting rain all day but that didn’t stop us from exploring. Covered the required hot spots but much more to see. We’re here for two nights so more exploring tomorrow… in between the required domestic duties. 26 miles today.Read more
